For example, in high-humidity regions of Southeast Asia, our solvent-based blue film is preferred for its superior moisture resistance and stable peel strength. Our film is designed to "wet" the surface quickly upon application, eliminating air bubbles that can lead to corrosion or "fogging" on polished metals. When it's time for removal—whether after weeks of fabrication or months of storage—the film peels back in one continuous sheet without shredding or leaving a single molecule of adhesive residue behind.

  • Q: Why should I choose Blue film over Clear film?
  • A: Blue film is primarily chosen for visibility. It is much easier for workers to see if the film is still on the product, preventing the accidental shipping of a "double-wrapped" product or, worse, one with no protection. It also offers a very slight increase in UV protection compared to completely clear film.
  • Q: Will the blue color transfer onto my white plastic profiles?
  • A: No. In Qida’s manufacturing process, the blue pigment is mixed into the PE resin during extrusion (inner-layer coloring). It is not a surface coating or ink, so there is zero risk of color transfer or bleeding.
  • Q: What adhesion should I use for a "brushed" steel surface?
  • A: Brushed surfaces (like No. 4 finish) have "valleys" and "peaks." You need a medium-high tack film (usually 150g-250g/25mm) to ensure the adhesive can reach into the texture and hold firm during processing.
  • Q: Can this blue film be used for outdoor construction?
  • A: Standard blue film is designed for indoor use or short-term outdoor exposure (less than 30 days). For long-term outdoor use, you should choose our "UV Resistant" specific version which contains higher concentrations of UV inhibitors.
  • Q: How do I store the rolls if I don't use them all at once?
  • A: Keep the rolls in their original packaging, stored vertically in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The ideal temperature is 20-30°C.
