  • Q: Is it safe for site-finished (polyurethane) hardwood floors?
  • A: It is safe, but the floor must be fully cured (usually 21-30 days) before applying any adhesive film. Applying it too early can cause the finish to peel when the film is removed.
  • Q: Can I use this on carpet?
  • A: No. Floor film has a low tack that won't stick to carpet. Please use our specialized "Carpet Protection Film" which has a much higher tack for fibrous surfaces.
  • Q: How long can I leave the film on?
  • A: For best results, we recommend removal within 45 days. For longer projects, simply peel and replace with a fresh layer.
  • Q: Does the film work on uneven or textured tile?
  • A: Yes, but you may need to use a slightly thicker film (80 micron) and a soft roller to ensure the adhesive reaches the textured surface.
  • Q: Is the film recyclable?
  • A: Yes, our floor films are made of 100% LDPE and can be recycled after the project is complete.
