Furniture High-Gloss Surface Protection Film is a specialized PE-based solution designed to safeguard these delicate finishes from the moment they leave the polishing line until they are unveiled by the end consumer. Unlike general-purpose films, furniture protection requires an ultra-smooth adhesive layer to prevent "orange peel" textures from being embossed onto the soft lacquer.

We utilize a high-clarity LDPE carrier that allows for full visual inspection of the wood grain or color consistency without removing the film. The adhesive chemistry is specifically balanced to be "non-migratory," meaning it won't react with the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) still off-gassing from freshly cured paints or UV-lacquers.   • Q: Can I apply this film to a surface that was just painted?
  • A: We recommend waiting at least 48-72 hours for the lacquer to fully cure. Even though our film is breathable, applying it to "wet" or uncured paint can cause the adhesive to bond permanently or trap solvent bubbles.
  • Q: Will this film work on matte or "super-matte" finishes?
  • A: For matte finishes, we recommend a slightly higher tack film (around 50g). This ultra-low tack film is designed specifically for perfectly smooth, high-gloss surfaces where suction helps the film stay in place.
  • Q: How do I avoid bubbles during manual application?
  • A: Use a felt-tipped squeegee or a soft rubber roller. Starting from the center and working outward will ensure a bubble-free finish that looks professional.
  • Q: Does the film offer UV protection for wood?
  • A: While the PE film provides a small barrier, it is not a 100% UV block. It is designed to prevent scratches, not to prevent long-term sun-bleaching of the wood grain.
  • Q: Is there a risk of the film "fusing" to the lacquer in high heat?
  • A: Our acrylic adhesive is rated for up to 60°C. If the furniture is stored in a shipping container that reaches higher temperatures, our specialized "high-temp" furniture film should be used to prevent fusion.
