Qida’s specialized film ensures a 100% secure bond during sawing, drilling, and site installation, protecting the finish from mechanical scuffs and chemical cement splatter.

  • Q: Why does my standard film fall off my powder-coated aluminum?
  • A: Powder coatings have a low-energy, textured surface. Standard films only touch the "peaks" of the texture. You need our high-tack "High-Wet" adhesive which reaches into the "valleys" for a secure bond.
  • Q: Will the high-tack adhesive damage the coating?
  • A: No. Powder coating is very tough. Our adhesive is designed to stick to the coating, not bond with it chemically. It will peel off cleanly without residue.
  • Q: How long can I leave the film on outside?
  • A: Our standard powder-coat film is UV-rated for 6 months. For high-UV environments like Australia or Florida, we recommend removal within 4 months.
  • Q: Is it safe for "wrinkle-finish" or "metallic" powder coats?
  • A: Yes, we have specialized tacks for these. We always recommend a sample test to ensure the adhesion is perfect for your specific gloss and grain level.
  • Q: Can the film be used during the "corner cleaning" of windows?
  • A: Yes, the film is tough enough to withstand mechanical cleaning, but ensure the tools don't snag the edge of the film.
